Following 2 to 3 days of training you will embark upon your journey in SpaceShipTwo (SS2). SS2 will be carried by a revolutionary mothership called WhiteKnightTwo where she will climb to a height of 50,000 feet. SS2 will then be released before firing her rockets and accelerate to a speed of 3.3 mach. After reaching a total altitude of 360,888 feet you will experience some of the most spectacular view and sensations know to human kind.
These privately built spaceships will allow affordable, sub-orbital, space tourism commencing in 2008. You will travel to an altitude of 100km and spend 7 minutes in total weightlessness. After re-entry the wings of the spacecraft will reconfigure to allow a gentle glide back terra firma where you will receive your Virgin Galactic astronaut wings.
